Parked cars in Magherafelt damaged by scores

Police are appealing for information following the report of criminal damage being caused to two parked vehicles which were parked in the Queens Avenue area of Magherafelt.

There were scores along the length of each car. The cost of the damage is estimated to be in the region of several hundreds of pounds to repair.

It is believed that this damage was caused sometime between midnight and 8.00am on Sunday, 5 July.

Constable Denver Kincaid said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Police at Magherafelt on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
