Alan Whiteside: Antrim and Newtownabbey police renew appeal to trace man missing for two weeks

Police in Antrim and Newtownabbey have issued a fresh appeal in a bid to locate 33-year-old Alan Whiteside, who has been missing since Sunday, December 17.

In a social media post on New Year’s Eve, police again urged anyone with any information that could help locate Alan to get in touch with them.

He was last seen in Maddens Bar in Antrim at approximately 10pm.

Alan is described as 5ft 8” tall, of medium build with brown hair and eyes. When last seen he was wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt and black Adidas trainers.

In an earlier appeal, police urged anyone who may have spotted Alan in the High Street, Market Square and Halls Bridge areas of Antrim after 10pm on December 17 to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1781 of 19/12/23.
