A Mid Ulster Council spokesperson said: "A group of young males flouted current COVID-19 restrictions by gathering at a 3G pitch in MUSA to play football.

"Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident. Our staff have had to intervene in similar incidents to dispel such unlawful gatherings.

"We would urge local people to continue to adhere to the current restrictions on gathering and playing sport which are not permitted. We have spoken to the PSNI to request their assistance in resolving the issue.”
