Petition is launched
A PETITION demanding improvement works to derelict land in Newbuildings was launched this week. It will be available to sign over the next few days.
Launched online by Newbuildings Community Centre, those behind it have called for the owners of properties and land on Victoria Road, together with statutory authorities, to “extensively improve the appearance and state of these eyesores and to bring them into line with the rest of the village which is well maintained”.
A ‘tear off slip’ in the February Community Newsletter can also be signed and left at the Centre.
