Police appeal after fire at Larne shop
Posting on social media, a PSNI Larne spokesperson revealed that the damage had occurred at approximately 11.30pm on Monday December 5.
The post stated: “NIFRS did attend after members of the public rang 999 about a fire in the rear yard of the shop.

Hide Ad“The CCTV system has picked up a young male on a dark coloured mountain bike, wearing a dark rucksack, grey tracksuit bottoms, navy hooded top and a distinctive stripped beanie hat that had a white lines around the centre.
“This young male entered the rear yard, without permission and set fire to bread crates, roller cages and a fence, about 25 minutes after the shop had closed.
“Thankfully, nobody was hurt. Local people did call the emergency services at the time and I would appeal to any person in the vicinity at the time to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting reference 261 of December 6 2016, Investigating Officer Con R McKenna.
“Again, I would like to thank those who called Emergency services as the fire was dealt with quickly and effectively.”
