Police appeal after Maghera oil thefts


Oil valued around £1,000 has been stolen from the Gulladuff area of Maghera.

Police at Magherafelt are appealing for information about the thefts.

A PSNI spokesperson said, “Between 10pm on Thursday, 6th, and noon on Friday, about £300 worth of oil was stolen from a farmyard at the Island, Mayogall Road, Gulladuff. The owner believes a vehicle was used to take the oil away. And between 5pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday, a further £700 worth of heating oil was stolen from the same location.”
