“Along with my colleagues I gave a solemn undertaking that as part of our covenant with the electorate we would establish and maintain a network of full-time, properly staffed constituency services. We are currently operating three full-time office – one in each of Upper Bann’s three main towns, Banbridge, Lurgan and Portadown.

“As well as that we are operating four monthly advice centres – the most recent additions being that in Portadown opened earlier this year and the newest only just opened in Mourneview.

“This kind of commitment can only be done successfully with a strong, dedicated united team of elected representatives and staff. And I take pride in the fact that that is exactly what we have. I want to pay tribute to my Upper Bann colleagues at Westminster, the Assembly, local council and our greatly valued office staff.

“This new, larger office in Lurgan has been opened in response to the rapidly growing demand in the Lurgan area. In recent times we have seen steady growth replaced by accelerated growth and this created a need for bigger premises.

“The DUP in Upper Bann will continue to work for the people. We cannot promise that we will always win their case, but we can promise that we will always do our best for them.”
