Port of Larne’s festive concert

Port of Larne, in association with P&O Ferries, is inviting everyone to come and enjoy a night of Christmas carols around the Christmas tree on Thursday, December 13.

A firm favourite in the Christmas calendar of events, the concert will start at 6.45pm in Port of Larne’s passenger terminal with music provided by Magheramorne Silver Band and St. MacNissi’s and Cairncastle Primary School choirs.

Archdeacon Stephen Forde, rector of Larne, will lead the service, with special prayers from Father Aidan Kerr, from St. MacNissi’s Parish. Colin Hall Thompson, chaplin to Mission to Seafarers and Sam Cowan from Seamen’s Christian Friends Society will deliver presents to seafarers working during the Christmas period.

The evening will finish around 7.30pm with tea, coffee and mince pies. It always proves to be a fun night and all age groups, nationalities and faiths are welcome.
