£4,000 match funding agreed

BALLYMONEY Borough Council has agreed to match fund DCAL's offer of £4,000 grant aid towards the Community Festivals Fund 2010/11.

The news was revealed during a recent Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting.

The report explained: ‘Confirmation has been received of acceptance of DCAL’s offer of 4,000 grant aid towards Community Festivals Fund 2010/11.

‘The Cultural Services Officer reminded members that Council agreed to match funding with 4,000 from its budget.

“She further advised that application forms are currently being prepared and that the scheme will be advertised shortly with anticipation of the new scheme being introduced as soon as possible.’
