PSNI appeal for information after 'masked individuals' attempt to block Cookstown street

Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened at Millburn Street on Saturday.

Chief Inspector Mervyn Seffen said: “At around 9.05pm last night, Saturday, April 3, police received reports that a number of masked individuals had gathered in the Millburn Street area of Cookstown.

"They attempted to block the road and throw missiles at traffic. There have been no reports of any injuries."

Police say their enquiries are continuing and they would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 2182 03/04/21.
