A police helicopter was used to search fields near Magherafelt after a two-vehicle crash.
The drivers of a van and car were treated for injuries following the collision at Barnet’s crossroads on the Ballyronan Road on Sunday night.
Firefighters also used thermal-imaging equipment to check nearby fields
The helicopter’s spotlight scanned surrounding fields for other passengers which may have been travelling in the vehicles.

PSNI sergeant Sam Young said because of initial uncertainties about the number of people in the vehicles, a helicopter was deployed.
“Firefighters also used thermal-imaging equipment to check nearby fields.”
He added: “Further enquiries established no one else had been involved.”
