THIS year at their annual exhibition in Granaghan Resource Centre, Swatragh Gran Quilters will remember their late tutor Margaret Brownlow who died last October.

They have produced a beautiful quilt (pictured below) in her memory which will be raffled alongside other patchwork items lovingly stitched by Margaret, some just a short time before her death.

The draw will take place on Saturday May 26 at the end of their two-day display. Tickets for draw will be on sale during exhibition.

These prizes along with many more quilts cushion covers and throws have been donated by her husband John for sale, the proceeds from which will be given to the N.I. Hospice and Macmillan Nurses who helped care for Margaret during her illness.

We will also have fabric, thread and other items for sale which will also benefit the charities.

This year for the first time we will have a stand with sewing machines for sale.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our craft exhibition to view our large display of patchwork quilts, crochet items, Christmas decorations and lots more. Our exhibition is on Friday May 25 and Saturday May from 26 between 10am to 6pm. Admission is £4 and includes light refreshments.
