Ravarenette ladies get some tips for healthy life
AFTER the normal business was conducted at the March meeting of Ravarnette WI, the President Maureen Campbell welcomed guest speaker Deirdre Humphreys.
Deirdre’s topic was ‘Health for Life’.
She showed members both armchair and standing exercises.
Deirdre reminded the ladies that it is important to keep the mind fit by doing things like crosswords or sudoku.
She ended off her talk by doing a short epilogue.
Winners of the healthy eating tip competition were: 1st Brenda Gillespie, 2nd Iris McCrum, 3rd Elizabeth Jess.
Ballot winner was Margaret Smyth and birthday girl was Lizzie Ervine.
