Retail boost for Broadway area
AN APPLICATION for a new retail unit on Broughshane street and Broadway avenue has been approved by planners.
The application made by the Broadway partnership is for the demolition of the existing building at 1-5 Broughshane Street and 2-10 Broadway avenue, then development of the building for the purpose of retail on the ground floor and four self contained office units on upper floors.
At last Thursday night's meeting of the Public Sector Liason Committee, the application was approved by the planning department.
