Road safety launch at Largymore Primary
Pupils aged between nine and eleven are recruited to the post in a variety of ways including completing an application form and attending an interview.
The successful pupils will be empowered to highlight road safety issues within their school by raising awareness amongst fellow pupils, their teachers and the local community whilst maintaining an important link with their Road Safety Education Officer.

Hide AdUnder the scheme the JRSO’s undertake three main activities: maintaining a road safety notice board; delivering presentations to classes and school assemblies and running road safety competitions and quizzes.
Principal Gillian Dunlop added “ After recent events in Lisburn it is vital that we get the Road Safety message across to all age groups in school and to parents.
