Safety advice for Lisburn Hard of Hearing group

Members appreciated the changed location of the event. Mrs G Spence, Secretary, welcomed all and outlined the programme for the February meeting which will be held on St. Valentines night.

Mr Michael Green, Lisburn crime prevention officer, gave very good advice about taking precautions at home or even when out, for personal safety and protection.

Everyone was given timer switches, personal alarms, etc for their personal use, and encouraged to take as much responsibility as possible for their own protection.

The meeting then concluded with some pleasant socialising.
