Second female cleric at Cairncastle Church

The congregation made a unanimous call for Rev Fiona Forbes, last Tuesday night.

Rev Forbes is currently assistant minister at McCracken Memorial Church, Malone Road, in Belfast.

She will replace outgoing minister Rev Anne Tolland who went to St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Newtownbreda in the city.

Rev Forbes has accepted the call which will be sustained by Carrickfergus Presbytery.

Afterwards, arrangements will be made for her ordination and installation.

Vacancy convenor Rev. Neil Bingham is responsible for services at present.

He is minister of Raloo and Magheramorne Presbyterian Churches and was appointed by the Carrickfergus Presbytery.
