The Met Office issued a severe weather warning for ice in parts of Northern Ireland on Wednesday.
The weather warning is applicable to counties Down, Antrim, Armagh and Londonderry.
Sub-zero temperatures throughout Tuesday night and Wednesday morning resulted in icy patches throughout the Province.
Motorists and pedestrians are being urged to take care as there is a chance of difficult driving conditions on untreated roads and slippery conditions on pavements and cycle paths are possible.
