Sister Act help Marie Curie
No strangers to fundraising on behalf on Marie Curie Cancer Care, Marie, aged 14 has been busy organising a team and collecting sponsors while her older sister Briege is travelling in Australia.
Briege who is Deputy Chair of the Moyle Fundraising Group said: “I have continued to support Marie Curie over the years because of all the fantastic people I have met on the challenges, and the more I have learnt about the work the Nurses do.

“I didn’t think I would be able to participate this year as I am in Australia, but Marie contacted me to say she had put my name down!
“Taking part will make for a great homecoming! And I have even convinced three Aussies to get involved also.”
A keen baker, Marie spent the majority of her Easter holidays selling her handmade cupcakes to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, with an impressive £150 already collected.
