PARTS of Mid-Ulster and East Tyrone could see heavy snow showers tomorrow.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow from midday onwards on Saturday.

Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will develop during Saturday before clearing during the evening.

They say the situation is “finely-balanced” and there remains considerable uncertainty regarding the extent of any snow.

The heaviest falls will mainly be confined to higher ground above about 150 metres where accumulations of several centimetres are possible.

There may be temporary slight slushy deposits at lower levels in any heavier precipitation.
