Social needs housing in Maghera gets ‘greenlight’ from planning authorities

TWENTY-two general needs social housing dwellings are to be built in Maghera, Magherafelt District Council was told.

Planners have given the go-ahead for the development and demolition of existing houses at 18 and 20 Craigmore Road.

Other planning applications which received approval from the Planning Service, with a number of them subject to outlines and conditions, included:

Replacement dwelling at 40 Ballymacilcurr Road, Maghera, for Mr Graham White; a single wind turbine with a tower height of 40m for domestic use about 500m south east of Eden Road, Portglenone, for Mr E. McGoldrick; proposed domestic store and increase in curtilage for storage and associated show equipment 20m east 78A Cahore Road, Draperstown, for Mr Frank Costello.

Existing antennas to be removed and replaced by new antennas, transmission dish and ancillary equipment at Tarnadace, Annaghmore Road, Castledawson, for Everything Everywhere and H3G; proposed demolition of two existing semi detached dwellings and replacing with two new semi detached dwellings at Moneymore Road, Magherafelt, for John Donnelly.
