Success for Boys' Brigade annual display

A LARGE crowd attended the Boys' Brigade annual display on Friday 19th March in Finvoy Presbyterian church hall.

The Chaplin of the Company the rev. Roy Gaston and chairman for the evening welcomed everybody to the display.

The Inspecting Officer was Mr. Jim Kane Captain of the 3rd Route (Toberkeigh) Company. The programme consisted of drill, figure marching, sketches, singing, interspersed with P.E. and humorous items under the Captain Ian Bolton. Four Boys' were awarded the Presidents badge. The badges were pinned on by their Mums.

The prizes were presented by the inspecting Officers wife Mrs Audrey Kane.

The captain Ian Bolton thanked all the boys, Officers, Parents, Friends, and the audience for concluding another successful year with the display.
