Support the Hospice Walk says Fielding
The Northern Ireland Hospice Walk - to be held locally at Portstewart Strand on Saturday, April 12 - is the biggest annual fundraising event held by the charity.
Support the walk, councillor Fielding said: “This is a charity close to all of our hearts, and one well deserving of our support to help continue caring for patients and their families who are cared for by Northern Ireland Hospice.’’

The Portstewart Hospice Walk is one of ten walks taking place across Northern Ireland and is supported by Creightons of Finaghy, Mauds Ice Cream and Kilwaughter Chemical Company.
Lynn Cowan, Event Organiser for Northern Ireland Hospice comments: “We are thrilled to have the support from the Deputy Mayor of Coleraine and hope that local people will come out support us on Saturday, April 12.
“Last year, our Portstewart walk raised over £5,000 which was fantastic!

Hide AdThis year we want to exceed this total and raise as much money as possible to support the 141 patients and their families in the local North Coast area who are in need of Hospice support.”
Northern Ireland Hospice currently cares for over 3,000 people across both adult and children’s services in hospice and the local community across Northern Ireland. All care is free of charge and is provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
