Table quiz boosts Care in Crisis
THE Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Carla Lockhart, was the guest of honour at a table quiz and auction held in the Jethro Centre, Lurgan, on April 11 to raise funds for Care in Crisis, a local counselling charity.
A total of £1,243 was raised and Care in Crisis would like to thank everyone who supported and helped to organise the event. The charity would also like to thank individuals and businesses from the Lurgan, Craigavon, Portadown, Waringstown, Dromore and Dungannon areas who kindly donated auction items and cash.
Care in Crisis offers a professional counselling service for individuals and couples experiencing a range of problems and difficulties, not just to the local Craigavon community, but to all areas of Northern Ireland. All sections of the community are seen at the centre including young people from the age of thirteen and adults of all ages.
