Tasty treats at Ballycarry

President Maybeth McQuitty welcomed members and guests to the February meeting of Ballycarry Women’s Institute.

Jackie Robinson gave an ecellent cookery demonstration called ‘Valentine treat’. She made a variety of sweet and savoury dishes and also gave everyone cookery tips which they all greatly enjoyed.

Later, for supper, all the ladies sampled the food and pronounced it delicious.

Tracey McIlwaine, Inver Area executive member, gave a short talk on fundraising for ACCW.

The monthly competition for a fancy doiley was won by Maureen Morrow, with Karen Shaw second and Isobel Nelson third.
