Tax refund bogus email warning for Cookstown

Police are advising people in Cookstown to be wary of emails from companies claiming they are owed a tax refund.

The email recipient is asked to click links on a webpage which asks for bank details.

Police advise anyone in the area who receives such an email not to click onto links or divulge any personal or bank details.
