Temporary closure of pedestrian link
Ballymoney Borough Council has given notice that the pedestrian link from Main Street to the Church Street Car Park, Ballymoney, will be closed to pedestrians on Monday 5th September to facilitate cleansing and maintenance works, as part of a general spruce up of the town centre being undertaken by the Council in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce.
Under the wider spruce up campaign, weeds, moss and litter is being removed from car parks and public areas, flyposting is being removed and plans are in hand to improve the appearance of derelict buildings in association with property owners. The overall objective is to improve the appearance of the town to both residents and visitors alike.
Ballymoney Borough Council and the Chamber of Commerce apologise for any inconvenience caused through the temporary closure of the pedestrian link.
