Theft of speedboat from Ballyronan

Police in Cookstown have appealed for witnesses following the theft of a navy and white Beyline Classic speedboat with white cover.

Investigating officer, Con Douglas said, “It is thought the boat was taken from the Ballyronan area sometime between 9am and 5.30pm on September 9th.” Anyone who can help police is asked to contact them on 101 quoting the reference number 98440914.

Police in Cookstown are also trying to identify the owner of a child’s bicycle.

Constable Morrow made this appeal for information. “It is believed that the youth’s bicycle may have been stolen in Cookstown over night on the evening of Monday 8th September to Tuesday 9th September.

This bike was discarded in the Dungannon Road area at around 4.30am on Tuesday 9th September. We would like to return the bike to its owner. It is an orange BMX type bike with black writing stating “X rated” and “ Dekko” on the frame. The saddle is white in colour.
