Pedestrian taken to hospital after being knocked down in Magherafelt

Police are appealing for information after a woman was knocked down in Magherafelt town centre on Thursday.

Officers and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment for her injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

The incident happened at Broad Street just before 10am.

Police say their enquiries are continuing.
