Witnesses sought following M2 collision

Police have launched an appeal for information following a road traffic collision in the vicinity of the Duncrue Street off-slip on the M2 motorway.

Detailing the incident in a post on the NI Road Policing and Safety Facebook page on Thursday, April 4, a Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesperson said: “Road Policing Officers from Steeple are appealing for witnesses and information in relation to a road traffic collision which occurred in the area of Duncrue Street off-slip of the M2 motorway Southbound on Monday, March 25 at around 3.38pm.

"The incident involved a silver or grey vehicle which crossed the solid white line which separates Duncrue off-slip and lane one of the M2 motorway, causing a road traffic collision.

"If you have any information which may assist, or dash cam footage, please make contact with police officers via the non emergency 101, quoting incident reference number 1227 of 25/03/2024.”
