Twelve points total leads to road ban for Pomeroy motorist

A Pomeroy man has been banned from the road for six months after reaching twelve penalty points.

Mateusz Berlowski, 20, from Lurganeden Road, was stopped by police on the night of December 29 at Donaghmore Road.

The passenger side front tyre on his car was devoid of thread.

He indicated to police that he already had nine points on his licence.

District Judge John Meehan handed down a fine of £100 and three penalty points which led to the imposition of the ban of six months. An offender’s levy of £15 was also imposed.
