Two men struck by cars in Magherafelt


Two men have been struck by cars in separate collisions at Magherafelt, according to police.

A man was hit by a silver Jaguar car as it exited barriers from Meadowlane shopping centre on to the Moneymore Road at 5.40pm last Friday.

And a man was struck by a car outside a filling station at the junction of Moneymore/Highfield/Killyfaddy Roads last Thursday night.

Police at Magherafelt are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed two traffic collisions in the town.

Sgt Sam Young said: “Anyone who can help establish the exact circumstances is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101.”
