The Donaghmore community has been devastated with the tragic death of mother of four, Mrs Rosaleen Donaghy.

A Donaghmore resident summed up the feelings of the entire community.

“Rosaleen was a real sweetheart and a lady. “The village is in shock. It is so hard to believe,

Just devastating.”

Sinn Fein Councillor Sean McGuigan paid tribute to the deceased. “Rosaleen was a good woman who spent most of her life looking after children.

“Her death and the injury to her husband has come as a real shock.

Fellow Councillor Michael Gillespie spoke of the sadness in Rosaleen’s homeland of Galbally.

The entire community is in a state of shock. Rosaleen was very well respected and our sympathy goes out to the Gervin and Donaghy families at this very difficult time. It is a terrible tragedy.”

The circumstances of what happened are being investigated by police in Bulgaria.

The Foreign Office said: “We are aware of a traffic accident in Bulgaria involving two British nationals. We are providing
