Aziz was found hanged at a Country Park in Leicestershire the day before the bodies of his young family were discovered.

Speaking publicly for the first time about the devastating tragedy which happened in 2011, Averil
Small appealed for any family struggling to cope, to seek help.

In her poem, Averil compares her sister to a daffodil - “When spring comes, The daffodils sprout, I see you coming back” and describes the two toddlers as butterflies - “When summer comes, Out come the butterflies, Spread your wings little ones,”

Speaking to the Mail, Averil said: “We didn’t know anything was wrong, what happened, came completely out of the blue.

“We got through this as a family, by sticking together.”

She added: “I would tell anyone in trouble to talk it through, there’s always help out there, I am here to talk to,” added Averil.”
