A rally car today led Glenn’s Allen’s funeral procession past hundreds of mourners who had lined a Cookstown street to pay their respects.
Before his coffin was carried into Molesworth Presbyterian Church for the funeral service, the car revved one last time in his honour.
Many attended the service, after which Glenn was laid to rest in Lissan Parish Churchyard.
Described as a ‘gentle giant’ by friends, Glenn sadly passed away at the weekend in Portrush after he had attended a friend’s wedding.
His death sent shock waves through the Cookstown community as many tried to come to terms with the death of the popular, well-known mechanic.
Glenn leaves behind his children Philip and Nicole and fiancé Olivia.
Son of Tom and Vera, he is also mourned by his sisters; Clairine, Iris and Lorna.
His uncle David, Olive, Trevor, Christina, William and his wider family circle have also shared their sadness at his loss.
The police investigation into Glenn’s death is ongoing, but the PSNI has said it is not being treated as ‘suspicious’.
