Video: Huge ovation for Mark Farren at Mourneview fundraiser
Former Derry City and Glenavon striker Mark Farren received a rousing reception as he led the teams out in a specially arranged match to aid fundrasing efforts for his treatment.
Farren, Derry’s all time leading scorer, and wife Terri-Louise, led the two sides out at Mourneview Park ahead of the game.
The 33 year old will travel to a clinic in Mexico later this month. He underwent a third operation on his brain at the beginning of April but now needs further specialist treatment
