SEVERAL hundred took part in the annual Remembrance Sunday parade and church service in Magherafelt today.
Members of the local branch of the Royal British Legion were joined by representatives from the PSNI, Fire Service, Army Cadets, and various youth organisations.
They marched from Rainey Street car park through the town centre to First Magherafelt Presbyterian Church, where the Remembrance service was held.
Following the Act of Remembrance, wreaths were placed at the church war memorial by Branch president Thompson Chambers, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Co Londonderry William McKeown and representatives of the various organisations taking part.
There were also Remembrance parades in Castledawson and Maghera.
Magherafelt RBP branch will also be holding a Remembrance parade and service this afternoon in Tobermore.
