Visit of American Radio Pastor

For eight years, Rev. Carl Haak from the United States has been preaching on the Reformed Witness Hour programme broadcasted by Radio North 846 AM on Sundays from 8.30am to 9am from their station outside Muff in Co. Donegal.

Now he is making his first visit to the province. Those who have listened for years to Pastor Haak on the airwaves will now have an opportunity to hear and meet the radio pastor in the flesh. Rev Haak be speaking six times in the next few days, Saturday, March 16 to Wednesday, March 20 for the Covenant Protestant Reformed Church, in Ballymena, the congregation which sponsors his radio broadcasts.

Pastor Haak will give both the speeches at Saturday’s Mini-Conference on ‘The Lord’s Second Coming: Motivation for Godliness’ at the CPRC.

Between his first lecture, ‘Looking for the Glorious Appearing of Our Saviour’ at 11am, and his second, ‘Christ’s Future Coming Inspiring Us to Present Godliness’ at 1pm, refreshments/a light lunch will be provided. Pastor Haak will also field questions.

On Sunday, Rev Haak will preach at both the CPRC’s Lord’s Day services, 11am and 6pm, he will speak on ‘Christian Discipleship’ in the CPRC on Tuesday at 11am and he will give a special lecture on ‘Life in Heaven’ on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Rev Haak has pastored churches in Chicago, Michigan and the Pacific state of Washington, and he has written three study guides, on Ruth, Malachi and Philippians. He has also contributed to a fourth book, ‘Jesus’ Beauty Shining in You’.

All are welcome to all of the six meetings in Covenant Protestant Reformed Church, 83 Clarence Street, off the Cullybackey Road, Ballymena.
