A Lurgan barber has become an internet sensation after taking hairdrying to new heights.
Kevin Ashe who owns The Barbery decided to check out his mate’s dad’s new leaf blower on a brave client - and the video has gone viral.
Kevin (30) said his mate Alan McColgan had been raving about his dad’s new leaf blower and the pair conjured up a video skit using the blower as a hair dryer.
The gutsy customer with the amazing quiff, Paul McAnallen (25), was game for a laugh and sat bravely in the salon chair.
Calmly reading a newspaper, Paul sat impassively while Kevin took out the leaf blower to dry his hair.
Despite hurricane-like conditions, Paul managed to retain hold of the paper while the scene was filmed by Alan.
The Barbery opened just over a year ago and has been a popular cool spot for locals to get a scaldy.
Kevin said: “I couldn’t believe how viral the video has gone. My phone hasn’t stopped.”
The young barber said his first year in business has been a great success.
“I have really loved it and couldn’t be happier,” he said.
Plus he revealed that there had to be several takes of the video skit because Paul couldn’t stop laughing nor keep hold of the newspaper.
“He didn’t opt for gel in the end,” said Kevin.
