Heavy rain will reign this evening before continuing into Tuesday in Mid Ulster and south Derry, according to the Met Office.
After issuing a yellow warning, the national weather service has predicted that rainfall of 20-30mm in some parts of the district could lead to flooding.
“The public should be aware that there is the potential for some localised flooding,” stated the Met Office online.
“An occluded front will be slow moving across Northern Ireland on Monday night and Tuesday morning, bringing bands of showers and longer spells of heavy rain.
“The front will move south on Tuesday morning with rain clearing.”
