Whats on tomorrow at the Maiden City Festival?

This year's Festival opens with Siege Tales and Story around the Walls at in St Columb's Cathedral, with Bluegrass around the Walls and a Craft Fayre on London Street. In the evening there is an all female Maiden Grass bluegrass concert in The Junction and a Line Dance Extravaganza in the Memorial Hall.

William Moore, Festival Co-ordinator, comments:

"This is taste of the week to come, with dance, music and drama all around and within the historic Walls. The week is promising to be the best festival to date and offers an absolutely marvelous family day out. History is lifted off the page and onto the Walls, while our huge range of lunchtime Culture Bite performances in 8 caf venues means the entertainment never stops through to the evening lectures and shows."

Jim Brownlee, Governor of the Apprentice Boys, says the Festival team has delivered a tremendous programme:

"Every year there is something new. The expanded living history on the Walls, bringing history to life in a contemporary way, is very exciting. The Siege Story – St Columb's Cathedral. Regular performances from 12noon, 2pm, and 4pm.

Siege Tales – around the Walls. Regular performances 11am-4pm

Bluegrass on and around the Walls – 1pm-4pm

Festival Craft Fayre – London Street, Cathedral Car Park

Maiden Grass – Bluegrass at The Junction, on Bishops Street 7.30-10pm

Line Dance Extravaganza – Memorial Hall 9pm-late
