Next is recalling a kids’ duvet set over fears they could get trapped in the bedding

Next has issued a recall for a kids’ duvet and pillowcase set over fears youngsters could get trapped in the bedding.

The “Magical Woodland Duvet Cover and Pillowcase set” is being recalled by the retailer, with Next advising anyone who bought the product to return it immediately for a full refund.

‘Problem with the trim’

Next has said the bedding could put children at risk of getting trapped inside due to a fault with the trim.

The retailer explained that the set has a “potential problem with the trim”, which could become detached and result in youngsters getting stuck.

A spokesperson for Next said: “As the Magical Woodland Duvet Cover and Pillowcase sets don’t meet our strict technical specifications, we’ve taken the precaution of recalling them and request that you return the item to us immediately for a full refund."
