All Ireland success for locals
This new competition was a joint venture between the United Taekwondo Association of NI and the Irish Taekwondo Union, comprising both Poomsae and Kyorugi tournaments.
The event attracted 162 competitors from all across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Hide AdLisburn Taekwondo Club enjoyed great success, with local players putting in some fantastic performances to take home a total of nine gold, eight silver and one bronze medals.
Special mention must go to Emily MacManus, aged 9, who won one silver and two gold medals, making her the club’s most successful player of the competition. Emily is now the All Ireland Champion in her division.
In addition, Northern Ireland won the first place Poomsae team trophy and second place Kyorugi team trophy.
This competition was thoroughly enjoyed by all players and allowed them to gain valuable experience at an international level.

Their hard work and dedication during training has once again paid off.
