Carn Wheelers

ON Sunday Carn Wheelers host a round of the XC NPS 2012 at Davagh Forest. It turned out to be a terrific day of racing, with a huge turnout from a wide range of clubs. With the amount of cyclists there from the different age groups, it shows how popular cycling has become.

The photo of the cyclists getting washed in the river at the end, sums the event up. There are more photos on the club website and a full report with results will be posted there during the week.

Thanks to all the club members who helped prepare for the event. All the marshals, those involved in catering and all those who helped get the course ready over the past few weeks under the leadership of Stephen Law and Cathal Doyle.
