“Crewe United is a local football team that is willing to invest significantly in the resources available to its players and the local community. This new floodlit pitch has enhanced the activity at this local club with increased numbers of schools, youth clubs and sports clubs availing of the first-class facilities. I would like to commend Crewe United for all that the club does in terms of football, encouraging activity within the local community and for charity. Keep up the good work,” he said.
