Dalriada won 2-0 putting them through to the 2nd round!

In the first half Belfast High School got off to a fast start putting the Dalriada defenders under great pressure, but Hollie Fleming made great passes down the right side of the pitch and Holly Clarke was on hand to help

Giving away a few messy passes here and there the Dalriada girls were determined to get the ball back!

The Mid Fields and Forwards worked extremely hard making beautiful play and keeping the ball off Belfast High School.

At half time it was a very even game with a nil all draw.

In the second half both teams came out fighting, both were hungry for a win. Dalriada again made some beautiful play down the right side of the pitch. Lynn Macaulay and Sophia Rogers worked very hard on getting the ball up the pitch. Within the first 10 minutes of the second half Dalriada were awarded a short corner. Hollie Flemming took a shot on goal and slotted the ball in the corner.

Dalriada kept calm and collected and within another 10 minutes received another penalty corner. This time Lynn Macaulay got a ball from Rebecca Turton. Lynn smashed the ball to the right post where Becky Webb was waiting to guide it in.

The Dalriada 1st XI would like to thank their coaches Mrs Parke and Mrs Cleland.

Players player was Hollie Fleming for her superb work as sweeper hitting fantastic balls up the pitch and keeping the back line strong... and for her superb goal!.
