Delight as Seymour Hill get off to winning start

Seymour Hill got off to winning start in Section C of the Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League when they picked up six points from a 12 shots away win at St Colman’s Dunmurry.

It was level at 7-7 with two ends left when Seymour Hill lifted two singles. A four helped R. Scales to a 6-2 lead at the fourth, but Brian Turner lifted a five before Seymour Hill lifted two, two, three, one to win by seven shots.

A three at the second gave Glen Scales a 5-0 lead and after Eric Ashton lifted two singles and then a double at the eighth Seymour Hill, who had added two, one finished with a single to win by four shots.

A. Carser started with one, three and after John Campbell added two, one Seymour Hill took a four shots lead with an end left, but St Colman’s finished with a winning five.
