Duo still in Ireland squad

CITY of Derry’s Stacey Lea Kennedy and Glenda Mellon are among six Ulster representatives who have made the initial cut for the Ireland Women’s Six Nations panel.

The hard-working Kennedy made her International debut last season and will once again be among the favourites for selection this season while Mellon’s promotion is just reward for her fantastic performances in a Derry shirt over the past 12 months.

The girls now go forward to the final selection process on the weekend of January 7th ahead of the Six Nations opener against Wales on February 3rd at Ashbourne Rugby Club.
