Brothers Ethan and James Simpson selected for Swansea City Academy

The brothers, who are in Primary 7 and Primary 5, are due to travel to Wales early next year.

The pair were chosen from over 380 players who attended several weeks of training in Belfast.

“Linn Primary School would like to recognise and congratulate Ethan and James on their outstanding achievement,” said teacher and football coach, Mr. Glenn Taggart.

“Being selected for the Swansea Academy is no mean feat, with competition coming from hundreds of boys across the province.

“At Linn Primary we try to encourage children to achieve their potential, whatever the subject and the brothers have been an integral part of our school football team over the last few years.

“They have undoubted ability, an enthusiasm to improve, and, more importantly, are two great children with hard-working attitudes and excellent manners.”
