Cookstown Celtic got their pre season under way last week and recorded a positive 2-2 draw with Magherafelt Sky Blues at MUSA in an entertaining game.

Cookstown Celtic were 2-0 up at half time after fine strikes from Muldoon and Loughran. Celtic decided to make changes at the interval seeing some new young faces take the pitch which allowed the visitors to take advantage of this reshuffle and they scored two goals in quick succession.

Celtic had O’Neill to thank for keeping them on terms when he made a fantastic save from the penalty spot to dent the Sky Blues striker.
